Flavio Marques, born on the 27th October 1982, plays Cavaquinho since his childhood.

As a member of several samba groups, he did shows in many European countries like, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Spain, Czeck Republic and Slovakia.

For 5 years he is living in Vienna, where he attended events like the Hallamasch Culture Festival, Donauinselfest, Infire Samba Festival, in the town hall of Graz and Vienna etc.

Nowadays he appreciates being in charge of many things: being head of the Free Samba Style group, where he lets his creativity influence the group. He is also the Teacher at the Sambaschool "Rot-Weiss-Rot", where he proves his professional percussion skills.

Flavio Marques has also been seen on different events, playing with other bands on the guitar.
